Mother Courage and Her Children

This project reimagines the cover and interior design for Mother Courage and Her Children by Bertolt Brecht.
The design combines photography with bold typographic structure to create a suitable  interpretation of the classic anti-war play.

Typeface: 

NewsSerif’s bold old-style serif structure help to support the historical setting and
weight of the story while remaining highly readable against a heavy, textured background




Interior Design:

For the interior pages, I focused on creating a layout that gives the reader visual context while maintaining clarity and rhythm. Times was chosen as the display typeface for the content for its readibility and it complements the title typeface
